The latest news doing the rounds in Kollywood is Sun picture's acquisition of Vettaikkaran rights from AVM. Vettaikkaran is Vijay"s much expected Diwali release and the actor is also in need of a win.

AVM Balasubramaniyam and his son Gurunath Meiyappan have almost completed the business deal, according to our source in the industry.

If Sun Pictures takes over Vettaikaran, it will mean that the film will be pitted against Udayanidhi Stalin"s mass entertainer Aadhavan featuring Surya, this Diwali. Lets wait and watch the tough and interesting bull fight!
