Surya teams with Hari for his 25th film

Once again Surya joins hands with one of his most favourite directors, Hari.

Titled as Singam, Hari will start this mass masala entertainer with Thirunelveli as the backdrop.

Surya - Hari team have already tasted success in their previous films Aaru and Vel. The film is produced by Gjanavel of Studio Green who made Sillunnu Oru kathal and Paruthiveeran.

Says Hari: "The title Singam is catchy and that is why we finalised it long before. We plan to start the film after Surya completes Aadhavan". It will be an action packed Cop movie with the right mix of sentiments and comedy like all Hari films. Anushka is the heroine and the cast also has Prakash Raj and Vivek.

It will be Surya's second cop role after Kaaka Kaaka and Hari will be directing a police story for the second time after that blockbuster Saami.

According to the press release issued by the film's publicist Nikil Murugan, Devi Sri Prasad scores music and VT Vijayan is the editor.

Priyan handles the camera. The first schedule will be completed in Tirunelveli, Ambasamudram, Kutralam, Karaikudi and Thuthukudi while the second schedule will be in Chennai, Hyderabad and Vizag.
