Young Chennai Warriors win the trophy!

Chennai Warriors, a smart cricket team comprising of young Tamil film stars defeated the Andhra Kings (A team of Andhra film stars led by Rajasekar) in a 25 over star cricket show match at Chepauk, Chennai.

The Chennai Warriors winning the toss and electing to bat made a quick 233 in 25 overs. The highlight was a thunderous 100 (retired) by Vikranth, the upcoming star still fighting to find a place in the film world. Jeeva went on to make a quick fire 50, Simbu hit a huge six and was out in the very next ball!

And when Andhra Kings batted they were bowled out for 189, though Adarsh made 50. For the Chennai Warriors the star bowler was Arya who took 3 price wickets. Vikranth and Arya were jointly declared the 'man of the match".

All the stars have unanimously decided to donate their prize money and other gifts to the Srilankan Tamil's relief fund.
