Unnaipol Oruvan to release on August 12

Kamal Hassan - Mohanlal's much awaited film Unnaipol Oruvan is scheduled to hit the screens all over the world from August 12th.

According to the sources, the film is almost 90 per cent complete.

The film, a remake of the Bollywood classical blockbuster A Wednesday is going to be a multi-starrer film in Tamil.

Kamal fans want it to be released on August 12, 2009, for sentimental reasons. It is the 50th Golden Jubilee year since Kamal's first film Kalathoor Kannamma as a child artiste was released on the same date in 1959.

Now, working on those sentiments, the trade wants it to be released on August 12, in Tamil as well as in Telugu.
