Vijay's Vettaikaran launched

AVM Balasubramaniyan's next project after A Aa E Ee, Vijay starrer Vettaikaran was formally launched yesterday at AVM Film Studio's famous Lucky Pillayar Kovil.

Among those who participated in the simple 'pooja' were Vijay and his wife Sangeetha, his father director S.A. Chandrasekar, Producers AVM Balasubramanian and his son .B. Gurunath Meiyappan, the director of the film Babu Sivan (former assistant of Dharani), music director Vijay Antony, cameraman Gopinath and guest Dharani.

Vettaikaran is the title of an old MGR film. It is Vijay's 49th film and is said to be an action oriented adventurous film. Anushka the hot and happening girl is being paired for the first time with Vijay in the film.
