A special birthday for Chiyan

Chiyan Vikram, one of the leading stars in Kollywood, is celeberating his birthday today (April 17).

The National award winner for his best acting skills is not only an actor of substance, but also one of the best entertainers in the industry.

Last year Chiyan had only one release, Bheema, but it had failed to grab a good place at the box office.

But this year the actor is waiting for his two big budget movies. Susi Ganeshan directed Kandhasamy is tipped to be a blockbuster. The trailers are already rocking and soon the audio will hit the market. In this film Vikram has sung four out of the eight songs.

Mani Ratnam's Ravan is the next release after Kandhasamy. He plays the role in both the Tamil and Hindi versions of the film. For Vikram, acting in a Mani Ratnam film was a big dream which has been fulfilled.
