Four Tamil movies set for Pongal release

Dhanush starrer Kutty and Simbu Devan's 3rd directorial venture Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam have confirmed their presence in Pongal race. For the past couple of months, film buffs have been looking forward to the Pongal releases, which are meant to be big budget films.

According to the sources, Aayirathil Oruvan has been passed with 'A' certificate while Dhanush starrer Kutty with 'U' is said to be a clean family entertainer. Meanwhile, Simbu Devan's cowboy film Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam will be censored shortly by next week and will surely participate in the pongal race.

Vasantha Balan's second venture Angadi Theru has also joined in the race in the last minute and increased the number of Pongal release to 4. Vishal's Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai is not releasing on Pongal. Sources say that the film is likely to hit screens on Feb 14 for the occasion of Valentine Day.
