His
debut
film,
Mirugam,
may
have
fetched
rave
reviews
and
laurels
for
his
performance,
but
it
is
his
second
film,
Eeram,
that
catapulted
him
to
fame.
Eeram
is
a
supernatural
thriller,
and
it
proved
to
be
the
bigger
milestone
in
actor
Aadhi"s
career,
leading
to
an
onslaught
of
offers
from
Kollywood
film
makers.
At
present,
Ayyanar,
the
movie
that
Aadhi
has
worked
on
forever,
it
seems,
is
nearing
completion
and
another
of
his
movies,
Kumba
Mela,
has
completed
50
per
cent
of
its
shooting.
Produced
by
Michael
Rayappan,
of
Nadodigal
(2009)
fame,
and
directed
by
Vijaya
Prakash,
the
story
of
Kumba
Mela
revolves
around
the
relationship
between
a
father
and
his
son.
Needless
to
say,
the
commercial
ingredients
–
romance,
comedy
and
action
–
will
be
a
part
of
the
movie
as
well.
Aadhi"s
co-stars
in
the
movie
are
Poorna
(female
lead),
yesteryear
actors,
Ravichandran
and
K.
R.
Vijaya,
as
well
as
Suresh,
of
Panneer
Pushpangal
fame,
in
a
powerful
role.
The
unit
of
the
movie
did
not
want
the
usual
grandeur
that
accompanies
a
launch,
so
they
started
shooting
without
announcing
an
official
media
release.
