Dhanush-Selvaraghavan are back in action

The brothers are back in action, this time with a romantic drama. Dhanush and Selvaraghavan, who had delivered super hit movies like Kadhal Kondein and Pudhupettai, are working together in Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam.

Since the film is produced by the home banner of Dhanush-Selvaraghavan, they have decided to work together and Andrea has been signed to play the female lead. The film went on the floors two months back and was stalled since Dhanush was occupied with three projects: Uthama Puthiran, Mappillai and Aadukalam. Now as the actor has completed shooting for these films, he has commenced the second schedule.

Earlier, the film was supposed to have Karthi and Sandhya in lead roles and didn"t take off as Selva started working on his other project Aayirathil Oruvan.

Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam is about a married couple and their problems. The film"s tag line is 'Being single is bliss" and it implies that Selvaraghavan might have added his life experiences in this movie.

G.V. Prakash has scored the music, Ramji is handling cinematography and editing is being done by Kola Bhaskar.
