Jeeva's Ko inspired from Hollywood’s State of Play

Followed by the grand success of Surya starrer Ayan, K.V. Anand is busy now shooting for his upcoming film Ko. Earlier, Silambarasan was supposed to perform the lead role and is now replaced by Jeeva with yesteryear actress Radha"s daughter Karthika starring opposite him in female lead role.

Recently, a bike chasing sequence was canned on Pondicherry highway road with Peter Hein choreographing this action. Throwing lights on this sequence, K.V. Anand said, “As Jeeva enacts the role of a photo journalist, he finds himself in trouble when investigating a mystery as a gang of roughnecks chase him badly."

Buzzes are that the film is partially inspired from Hollywood"s best political thriller State of Play that featured Russell Crowe as a journalist, who risks his life to save his friend politician from a serious trouble unaware about his true colors.

With Jeeva playing the role of photo journalist, Ajmal is reported to be performing a politician"s role and Goa fame Piyaa in another female lead.
