Kalavani Vimal marries secretly

Kalavani fame Vimal has secretly married his childhood sweetheart Priyadharshini after the bride's parents were against their marriage. They entered wedlock at Swamy Malai Murugar Kovil in Kumbakonam.

According to reports, Priyadarshini is from Dindigul and a close relative of Vimal. She is a third year medical student at a private medical college in Chennai. It is said that the couple's close friends attended the function.

Priyadarshini's parents wanted their daughter to marry a doctor and not an actor, says a source. In fact, they had started searching a boy for her, which made the couple to marry secretly, adds a source.

Vimala, who shot to fame with Pasanga, is basically from Manaparai taluk. He is currently filming Eththan. However, the actor has said that they are planning to host a wedding reception in Chennai soon after they resolve the marriage issues with his parents-in-law.
