7).

Welfare
Movement
had
organized
a
function
to
mark
the
occasion.
Kamal,
who
converted
his
fans
association
into
a
welfare
organization,
said
that
Tamil
Nadu
Kamal
Hassan
Welfare
Movement
(KHWM)
came
into
existence
some
35
years
ago.
When
it
started,
the
association
did
not
have
a
proper
draft
plan.
Over
the
years,
it
has
developed
into
a
good
shape.
Now,
it
has
well
organized
system
with
volunteers,
who
are
working
closely
with
other
organizations,
said
actor.
KHWM
donated
15
tailoring
machines
to
women,
laptops
to
students,
uniforms
to
auto
rickshaw
drivers,
medicines
for
NGOs
and
other
articles
for
physically
challenged
and
aged
people,
on
Kamal
Hassan's
birthday.
The
multifaceted
actor
started
his
career
in
film
industry
at
the
age
of
four
as
a
child
artist
in
Kalathur
Kannamma
in
1959.
His
major
breakthrough
into
the
lead
role
came
with
the
film
Apoorva
Raagangal.
Sagara
Sangamam,
Nayagan,
Pushpak,
Thevar
Magan,
Indian,
Hey
Ram
are
the
few
notable
films
of
nineteen
times
Filmfare
Award
winner
Kamal
Hassan.
