Karunanidhi called by name by Gautham Menon

Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has written a theme song for the World Tamil Classic Conference. A R Rahman has composed the music for this song while Gautham Menon has directed the video album. Though he has done his work with perfection, people referring to Gautham say that he has earned the wrath of important people. Why? There is nothing big.

During the launch of this song, people who spoke referred the Chief Minister lovingly as Kalaignar. But Gautham Menon while speaking kept continuously calling him Karunanidhi. All the ministers present there got irritated because of this. When Gautham completed his speech, he was asked to sit in the back row and even he wasn"t present there in the group photo that was shot after the event.

Gautham Menon has often got himself in trouble with his careless speeches right from the beginning. Earlier, he had garnered the infuriations of filmmakers Lingusamy, Sasikumar and Samuthirakkani for commenting on their showpieces.
