Mani Rathnam, Sasikumar to launch Kalavani audio

Maverick filmmakers of Tamil film industry Manirathnam and Sasikumar will together launch the album of Kalavani. The film is directed by debutante Sargunam, once an associate of Kalaimani and director Vijay of Kireedom.

Actor Madhavan"s manager Naseer produces the film under the banner name of Sherali Films. Pasanga fame Vimal takes on the lead role. A newcomer Helen from Kerala performs the role of his love interest.

The film centers on a crook named Arivazhagan and a girl falling in love with him. Director Sargunam is brimmed with assuredness that Kalavani will be an interesting film to watch. S.S. Kumaran of Poo fame has tuned melodies for this film. The film"s audio will be launched on April 19 at Kamal Theatre in Chennai.
