The controversial song 'Kannodu Kannai Kalandhal" from Manmadhan Ambu has been deleted from the film after facing the wrath of Hindu outfits. The makers of the film announced yesterday that they have finally decided to chop the song.

Actor Kamal Hassan confirmed that the song has been passed by the Censor Board with out any objection. But keeping commercial interest in mind, he agreed to delete the song, says Kamal. The actor says that if would have produced the film, then he would not have removed the song as it does not hurt any group.

The controversial song speaks much about woman's desire and in the lines, which contain God's names like Aranganathar and Sri Varalakshmi, had left the Hindu groups red-faced. The song has been penned by Kamal.

However, the movie is releasing on December 23.
