Murugadoss's 7 AUM Arivu is not a remake of Inception

Disgruntled with rumors that A.R. Murugadoss" upcoming trilingual movie 7 AUM Arivu is a remake of Christopher Nolan"s yet to be released movie Inception, the filmmaker has finally made his call. Says Murugadoss: 'It"s really absurd! These rumor mongers are coming up with such silly stories. How can I remake Christopher Nolan"s Inception that is slated to hit screens on July 16? Is it possible to watch the film prior to its release?"

The filmmaker"s previous film Ghajini (made in Tamil and Hindi with the same title) was based on Christopher Nolan"s Mementoes while the Hollywood filmmaker"s other film Following inspired debutant Ahmad to make Vamanan starring Jai and Rahman in lead roles.

The shooting of 7 AUM Arivu started in Chennai couple of weeks ago and the entire crew will fly to China in August for shooting major portions of the film.

Harris Jayaraj has completed scoring almost all the songs while ace Ravi K. Chandran is handling cinematography. Shruthi Hassan"s makeover is expected to be one of the main highlights in this film and Surya is expected to play dual role in this film.
