Nadodigal wins Best South Scope Cine Award

The Lux Sandal South Scope Cine Awards for 2009 were presented on Sunday, September 19 at HICC, Novotel in Hyderabad. The awards were given to all the regional languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Samuthirakani's Tamil movie Nadodigal won three awards for different categories. Kanchivaram and Ayan were also honoured with two awards.Highlight of the ceremony was Prabhu Deva-Nayantara, who bagged 'Close Up Superstar Jodi (couple)'award.

Nayantara, Prabhu Deva, Prabu, Shreya Saran, Prakash Raj, Pony Verma, Charmi, Madhavan, Aarya, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Anushka Shetty, Sonia Agarwal, Sonal Chouhan, Tamanna Bhatia and others were present. But superstars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Dhanush, Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Surya did not attend the function.
