Namitha's Ilaignan gets a huge ship!

Art director Thotta Tharani is erecting a huge set of a ship for Namitha and Pa. Vijay starrer film Ilaignan. He is giving final touches to it in binny mills ground, Chennai.

The look and feel of the ship takes back us to pre-independence period. He is recreating the royal windjammer sail-boat of British Raj era. Soon, the scenes involving Namitha and other actors will be shot on this set.

The movie is the screen adaptation of M.Karunanidhi's Thaai Kaviyam novel, which is set in the 1940s. Namitha plays the role of a baddie in the film. It also features Meera Jasmine, Khushboo, Ramya Nambeesan in the key roles. Suresh Krishna is directing the movie and S. Martin is the producer.
