With
around
24
films
being
released
within
last
50
days,
the
distributors
are
completely
perplexed
in
releasing
their
upcoming
films.
Earlier,
Lingusamy"s
Paiya
was
supposed
to
hit
screens
on
February
12
along
with
Gowtham"s
Vinnaithandi
Varuvaaya.
But
unfortunately,
the
complete
scheduling
was
changed
as
Sun
Pictures
released
Theeratha
Vilayattu
Pillai
on
that
Friday.
Apparently,
Ajith
Kumar
starrer
Asal
was
preponed
to
February
5
merely
because
of
this
sudden
change.
Since,
Venkat
Prabhu"s
Goa,
Shiva
starrer
Thamizh
Padam,
TVP
and
Asal
are
considerably
doing
moderate
business
at
box
office,
theatre
owners
have
decided
not
to
release
any
films
tomorrow
(Feb
19).
Next
Friday
(Feb
26)
will
have
Vinnaithandi
Varuvaaya
hitting
screens
and
Jeeva
starrer
Katcheri
Arambam
that
was
slated
on
the
same
day
release
schedule
has
been
postponed
to
March
6
along
with
Bharath"s
Thambikku
Indha
Ooru
and
Moser
Baer"s
Aval
Peyar
Thamizharasi.With
no
options
left,
Karthi-
Tamanna
starrer
Paiyya
is
likely
expected
to
get
release
somewhere
in
mid-of-March.
