Priyamani to pair with Surya

Actress Priyamani is going to play the lead lady role against Surya in one of his forthcoming movies. The film is none other than Ram Gopal Varma's, Surya starring Hindi-Telugu bilingual Rakta Charitra.

RGV"s film is about the bloody faction fights in Ananthpur region of Andhra, which saw the rise of real life gangsters like Paritala Ravi and Maddelachervu Suri, who later became politicians. Paritala Ravi is being played by Vivek Oberoi and Suri by Surya, while Priyamani will play the role of his wife Gangula Bhanumati.

It is a major break for Priyamani, the National award winning actress as she is able to do back to back roles with master directors like Manirathnam and RGV. Priyamani is now getting roles in Bollywood after playing Abhishek's sister in Mani Ratmnam"s Raavan.
