Raavanan releasing with 220 prints in Tamil Nadu

The long wait is finally getting over. Yes, the Mani Ratnam's Raavanan is all set hit the screens this Friday. Produced by Madras Talkies in association with Reliance Big Pictures the craze and excitement for the film is getting bigger and bigger. Friday"s release of Raavanan has set off a mad scramble for ticketsand avid film-buffs have already started to queue up to book their tickets.

"Everything about the movie is big, be it the director, the star cast or the music composer.So the expectation is also on a all time high. Infacy it is the biggest release of the year", say the masses in chorus. The hype and expectations are sky-high as the promos of the movie set to storm in three different versions (Ravan in Hindi, Raavanan in Tamil and Villain in Telugu).

In Tamilnadu, a total of 220 prints of Raavanan would be released on June 18 that and 125 prints is getting dispatched for overseas. In Andhra Pradesh, 125 prints of Villain would see the light of the day, besides 25 prints for overseas.

The Hindi version starring Abhishek Bachchan as the protagonist with Aishwara Rai and Vikram in the cast is getting released with 500 prints across the country besides 305 for overseas. In total 1280 prints of Raavan in different versions are set to storm cinema halls.
