Rajinikanth returns to Kannada after 3 decades

Superstar Rajinikanth is finally back to Sandalwood after three long decades. The actor will be doing a cameo in Shivaraj Kumar starrer Kannada film Jogayya, which is directed by Prem.

The actor, who shares a good relationship with Dr Rajkumar's family, has given green signal after director approached him for a guest role. He will appear for a scene, which lasts for about five minutes, says a source.

Rajini had praised Prem's earlier film Jogi, prequel of Jogayya's and had also expressed his wish to work with him. Now, as the script demands a special character, the director has roped in the actor for a small but powerful role.

Rajinikanth has acted in over 15 films in Kannada. C.V.Rajendran's multi-lingual film Garjane was his last film in Kannada.
