By Ramchander

Saravanan, who donned a different kind of role in Paruthiveeran is currently acting in Vilai, Kavasam and Thambi Vettothi Sundaram.

Saravanan ,while speaking to the media recently said, “I became crazy about cinema after seeing Mahendran, Bhagyaraj and Balachandar in films. I came to Chennai to enter the tinsel world. There is a lot of difference between the films of those days and the present ones. Before, we used to see the girls coming to theatre wearing half sarees but now they come in jeans and midi."

"The audiences have also become very educated. They have the knowledge about stories, music, cinematography and sound effects. They have become good critics too. It is not easy to win them over now. The directors and assistant directors, on the contrary, do not have the habit of reading books and hence lose out on creativity." He added

He further said, “I am acting in a good film after a long time. I am donning the role of a police officer here. Ladies, parents and college students should definitely see the film. The incidents portrayed in the film can happen to anyone. Sathya and Babu are producing the film under the banner S P Film Productions. G Kamaraj who has written the story, screenplay and dialogues is directing the film too." He added.
