Sasikumar's Easan eyes a December release

Sasikumar, who made his directorial debut with Subramaniapuram, is back with Easan. The movie is being produced by his home banner. The actor recently spoke about his upcoming project.

For the first time, Sasikumar has made a film, keeping Chennai at the backdrop. Sasikumar says, "This film is completely based on different socio-economic classes of this city. Samuthirakkani plays the lead role of a police officer and producer AL Azhagappan (father of director AL Vijay) is doing the key role."

Talking about the story, he says, “Revealing the storyline will be a spoiler. We are planning to release the film in December, while the audio will be launched in November."

James Vasanthan has tuned 5 songs with different musical genres for this film. Kathir has handled cinematography for this movie. Vaibhav of Saroja fame, Nadodigal Abhinaya and a league of newcomers Aparna, Thulasi, Namo Narayanan have played important roles in this movie.
