Shankar's 3 Idiots remake titled Moovar

Shankar's next film has been tentatively titled Moovar. The director, who has been considering some titles like Nanban and 3 Rascals, has finally zeroed in on Tamil version of the film. The movie is a remake of blockbuster Hindi film 3 Idiots.

Earlier, the movie was reportedly titled 3 Rascals. But the movie bosses have decided to retain this title for Telugu and change Moovar for Tamil version, say sources. The movie will hit the floors on December 5.

According to reports, Shankar has made some changes in the script to suit the taste of the regional audience. The director is reportedly planning to cast two female leads in the film. But in the original version, there was only one female lead, which was played by Kareena Kapoor.

Shankar has already roped in Ileana for the first lead. But he is yet to reveal about second female lead. The Tamil version features Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and others in the cast. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music and Manoj Paramahamsa will handle the camera.
