Shankar releases Aridhu Aridhu audio

Filmmaker Shankar"s assistant K.R. Mathivanan debut directorial film Aridhu Aridhu, which saw it music release at Sathyam Cinemas recently. Amongst the list of special invitees were filmmakers Shankar, Thankar Bachan, Vetrimaaran, Lingusamy and Perarasu, producers R.B. Choudhary, Kalaipuli Dhanu and executive members of TFPC also graced the occasion.

Debutant Harish, son of the famous audio company 5 Star Music Kalyan is making his debut in a lead role while newcomer Uthara, winner of the New Zealand beauty contest in 2008 plays the female lead. It"s worth mentioning that the Hollywood actress Princess Jasmine of Ghost Rider fame is performing a prominent role. The film is produced by Jaya Krishnan under the banner JK Creations.

During the audio launch, director Thankar Bachchan mentioned that films, these days, are being churned out at higher costs in spite of not having strong storylines. Adding more, he stated that the Tamil Film Producers Council has not taken any action on cutting down unwanted costs meant for songs shot in foreign locales and technical arenas.

TFPC secretary, Siva Sakthi Pandian mentioned that their association has been involved in the mission of serving the producers and Thankar Bachchan shouldn"t really make such harsh comments before clarifying his allegations.
