about
his
next
project,
which
is
a
remake
of
Bollywood
movie
3
Idiots.
Shankar
says,
"I
am
too
busy
with
Rajinikanth-Aishwarya
starrer
Endhiran
promotions
and
only
after
that
I
can

movie,
which
had
garnered
over
Rs.300
crore
at
the
Box
Office,
is
being
remade
in
Tamil
and
Telugu.
Speaking
about
Endhiran,
Shankar
says
that
the
idea
of
the
film
came
to
him
when
he
decided
to
make
a
film
on
non-living
objects.
"The
Robot
is
close
to
human
beings.
The
film
dwells
on
human
relationships.
It
is
about
seeing
ourselves
in
the
mirror.",
he
added.
Shankar,
who
last
directed
Rajinikanth
in
Sivaji
-
The
Boss,
has
admitted
that
his
first
choice
was
Kamal
Hassan.
"I
wanted
to
start
the
film
in
2000,
but
things
could
not
be
put
in
place," he
added.
Lauding
Aishwarya's
efforts,
Shankar
says
that
Aish
was
writing
all
her
Tamil
dialogues
in
English
a
day
before
and
was
coming
well
prepared
to
the
sets
next
morning.
"She
is
thorough
professional.",
the
director
said.
When
asked
about
Endhiran
being
the
costliest
movie
in
the
Indian
film
industry,
Shankar
says
that
the
movie
is
priceless
in
terms
of
hard
work
put
in
by
the
team
and
not
in
terms
of
budget.
