Simbu kick-starts Vettai Mannan

Silambarasan aka STR's upcoming film Vettai Mannan's shooting was kick-started from yesterday (November 15). The actor, who is busy with other projects like Vaanam and Poda Podi, started the first schedule of the film. The movie will be shot in USA, Mexico and Chennai.

Vettai Mannan is an action-oriented film, where Simbu plays the role of a gangster. It also features actor Jai in the key role. The movie has three heroines and one of them will be a foreign babe.

The movie is directed by Nelson and produced by SS Chakravarthy under the banner of NIC Arts. Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music for the film. It is reportedly made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and expected to hit the screens in mid 2011.
