“Yes
I
was
launched
by
Priyadarshan
seven
and
half
years
ago.
I
am
glad
that
he
remembered
me
when
he
was
doing
this
film.
My
debut
venture
is
with
Akshay
Kumar,
what
more
could
I
ask
for.
Moreover,
it
is
Akshay"s
home
production",
Trisha
says.

Trisha

“Bollywood
has
always
been
open
to
new
people.
Right
from
Sridevi
to
Asin
and
Genelia
they
have
all
made
it
to
Bollywood.
I
hope
I
can
set
a
mark
here
too",

be
her
first
attempt
at
comedy.
“Yes,
I"ve
done
comedy
in
Telugu
films
but
not
attempted
in
Tamil
cinema.
In
Khatta
Meeta
too
my
character
does
not
have
a
comic
track,
it"s
more
serious.
All
the
comedy
is
handled
by
Akshay
Kumar.
I
can"t
reveal
much
about
the
film
at
this
point

it"s
the
story

“Yes,
I
can
read
and
write
Hindi.
Reading
the
script
was
not
difficult
but
I
am
not
good
with
the
spoken
language.
And
since
my
character
needs
to
be
good
in
Hindi
Priyan
sir
decided
to
have
it
dubbed.
Meanwhile
I
am
polishing
off
the
language
with
some
tutors",
informs
Trisha.
Trisha
says

looking
forward
to
the
release
of
the

“I
am
nervous
as
well
as
excited
but
am
banking
on
it.
In
the
meantime,
I
am
making
most
of
my
time
shopping
without
being
conscious
of
the
fact
that
I
am
a
star
in
Mumbai",
she
concludes.
