recently
made
her
Bollywood
debut
with
Akshay
Kumar,
starring
in
the
movie
Khatta
Meetha,
which
is
yet
to
be
released.
But
the
Tamil
actress
has
already
signed
her
second
film,
if
the
reports
are
to
be
believed.
There
is
a
buzz
that
Trisha
will
star
opposite
Prateek
Babbar,
son
of
Smita
Patil
and
Raj
Babbar.
The
film
is
a
remake
of
Trisha"s
superhit
Tamil
film
Vinnaithaandi
Varuvaaya
(VTV)
by
Gautham
Vasudev
Menon.
The
Tamil
actress
will
again
play
the
role
of
Jessie
in
the
Hindi
remake.
According
to
the
sources
closed
to
the
development,
Trisha
has
already
signed
for
the
movie
and
the
shooting
of
the
film
will
start
in
August.
But
Trisha
preferred
not
to
comment
on
this
project.
Gautham
Menon,
the
director
of
the
Tamil
version,
will
be
directing
the
Hindi
version
also.
Prateek
made
his
debut
in
a
supporting
role
in
the
film
Jaane
Tu
Ya
Jaane
Na.
Prateek
will
be
playing
the
lead
hero
in
the
film,
which
was
played
by
Silambarasan
in
the
Tamil
version.
Ambica
Hinduja
is
reportedly
producing
the
movie,
which
will
go
on
the
floor
in
the
middle
of
August
in
Malta,
where
the
original
movie
was
shot.
Now,
Trisha
is
busy
with
the
shooting
of
her
Tamil
film
Manmadhan
Ambu
starring
Kamal
Hassan.
They
are
shooting
in
a
Titanic-like
ship
on
a
Mediterranean
cruise
with
three
decks.
In
the
meantime,
she
has
been
requested
to
come
to
Mumbai
for
the
promotion
of
her
Hindi
film
Khatta
Meeta.
Her
manager
informed,
“Trisha
has
already
requested
her
Manmadhan
Ambu
director
K
S
Ravikumar
to
give
her
time
off
from
the
European
schedule.
She
will
be
back
in
Mumbai,
five
days
before
the
release
of
the
film."
