Udayanidhi, Dayanidhi strike big deals

Udhayanidhi Stalin"s Red Giant Movies has snapped up the theatrical rights of AGS Entertainments period piece Madrasapattinam. His cousin Dayanidhi Azhagiri has got the rights of Karthi starrer Naan Mahan Alla.

Madrasapattinam features Aarya and British girl Amy Jackson in the lead and is directed by AL Vijay,son of veteran producer AL Azhagappan.

A special screening of the film was held for Udayanidhi and he is impressed with the film that takes place in the 1940"s Madras, just before the Indian Independence. The buzz on the movie is good and with Uday marketing it, the film is sure to be a hit.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi's cousin Dayanidhi, (son of Union Minister MK Azhagiri) got the theatrical rights of Karthi - Kajal Aggarwal starrer Naan Mahan Alla, directed by Suseenthiran of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu fame.

Remember, Karthi's previous release Paiya was also released by Dayanidhi's Cloud Nine Movie, a couple of months ago.
