Velmurugan's otha sollala song a big hit in Kollywood

Playback singer Velmurugan has matched his voice with that of actor Dhanush for an upcoming Tamil flick Aadukalam. He has crooned 'Otha Sollala" track, which is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The song has become a big hit in Kollywood.

The singer has broken the barriers of folk singing that he was tied during the early phase of his career. He says that he always wished to do something different from the standard folk songs that he was normally offered. So, when he was offered to sing this number he grabbed it in both hands, says Velmurugan.

Velmurugan says that he took some time out to rehearse the song before belting it out for the recording studio. However, the singer has crooned over 50 songs in his career.
