Venkat Prabhu to replace Pandian?

Filmmaker Lingusamy seems to have zeroed down on Venkat Prabhu to wield megaphone for his next production. Earlier, Lingusamy had finalized Boopathy Pandian to direct Simbhu in Utthama Putthiran that was dropped at the last moment due to difference of opinions in script.

Now, buzzes are Venkat Prabhu may replace Boopathy Pandian for this film produced by Lingusamy under the banner name of Tirupathi Brothers. As of now, Lingusamy is busy working on post production works of his upcoming release 'Paiyya" starring Karthi and Thamannah in lead roles. The film was supposed to hit screens in February but was postponed due to unavailability of theatres in March. It seems that producers will make official confirmations after the release of Paiyya.
