Venkat Prabhu sings in Mangaatha

We all know that director Venkat Prabhu is a good singer. He has crooned in many films and hosted several light music shows even after venturing into direction. Now, he has rendered his voice again for a song in upcoming film Mangaatha.

Yuvan Shankar Raja (YSR) is scoring the music for which Vaali and Gangai Amaran are penning the lyrics. The movie has six numbers and for the first time YSR and his father Ilaiyaraaja are singing together for a song.

However, Venkat has engaged himself in Mangaatha shooting as he wants to complete it by March. The first schedule was held in Chennai followed by film"s title song shot in Bangkok. Venkat Prabhu had planned to shoot the next schedule at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. This was perhaps a longer shooting schedule as it involved the sequences pertaining to all the actors in the film.

On the spur of moment, the decisions were changed for the location to Chennai. However, with the heavy downpour in Chennai the shooting was called off and it will resume shortly.
