Vijay
is
in
deep
trouble
because
of
his
continuous
failures.
After
Sura
bombed
at
the
box
office,
the
exhibitors
of
Tamil
Nadu
have
called
for
an
emergency
meeting
to
discuss
the
status
of
screening
forthcoming
films
of
the
actor.
According
to
theatre
owners,
Vijay
has
done
seven
films
in
the
last
five
years.
Out
of
Aadhi,
Pokkiri,
Azhagiya
Thamizh
Magan,
Kuruvi,
Villu,
Vettaikkaran
and
Sura,
only
Pokkiri
fetched
normal
profit.
Other
films
made
huge
losses
to
the
theatre
owners.
Particularly,
his
recent
release
Sura
made
unbearable
loss
to
both
distributors
and
exhibitors.
To
compensate
the
losses,
the
theatre
owners
are
asking
Vijay
to
do
a
film
exclusively
for
them.
If
Vijay
refuse
their
demand,
they
are
planning
to
issue
a
red
card
to
the
actor
and
will
not
screen
his
films
in
future.
To
discuss
the
issue,
theatre
owners
will
hold
an
emergency
meet
tomorrow,
May
22,
in
Chennai.
