Vijay's
upcoming
movie
Kaavalan
is
in
trouble
as
the
cinema
theatres
are
showing
interest
towards
other
releases
like
Aadukalam,Engeyum
Kadhal
and
Siruthai.
It
is
said
that
the
movie
has
got
only
70
theatres
for
Pongal
release.
According
to
sources,
Vijay's
recent
series
of
flops
have
made
the
theatres
to
play
safe
by
opting
other
movies.
It
is
also
said
that
Tamil
Nadu
Theatre
Owners'
Association
(TNTOA),
who
had
demanded
Vijay
to
compensate
35%
of
the
loss
of
his
50th
film
Sura,
has
also
decided
to
boycott
the
movie
until
he
pays
a
portion
of
the
loss
amount.
They
have
issued
red
card
against
the
actor
and
urged
theatres
not
to
screen
his
film,
says
a
source.
It
may
be
recalled
that
the
actor
along
with
South
Indian
Film
Artistes
Association,
president
Sarath
Kumar
and
the
TNTOA
had
a
meeting
regarding
the
reimbursement.
But
the
meetings
went
in
vain
as
it
could
not
draw
any
conclusion.
However,
Sakthi
Chidambaram,
who
has
acquired
the
distribution
right
of
the
film,
denied
the
reports
and
said
that
the
movie
will
hit
the
release
in
400
theatres.
