Recently,
actor
Vijay
found
himself
drowning
with
issues
pertaining
to
the
compensations
of
film
distributors
and
even
before
he
could
get
out
of
that,
another
matter
threw
him
into
troubled
waters
again.
Johnny
Thomas
who
hails
from
West
Mambalam
has
filed
a
petition
in
the
Saidapet
Court.
He
states
in
the
petition,
“I
had
produced
the
Malayalam
film
Bodyguard
in
2008
and
J
K
Siddique
has
to
directed
this
film.
He
was
paid
Rs
40
Lakhs
as
remuneration.
The
film
did
well
at
the
box
office."
"While
drawing
up
the
agreement
there
was
a
condition
stipulating
that
the
director
should
complete
the
film
in
45
days.
But
the
director
completed
the
film
in
120
days
which
resulted
in
additional
expense
for
me.
Now
without
my
knowledge
he
is
producing
this
film
in
Tamil
with
the
title
Kavalkaran
which
has
Vijay
in
the
lead
role.
He
has
no
right
to
remake
this
film
without
my
permission." He
added.
He
said
" In
view
of
the
foregoing,
I
requested
the
Court
to
direct
the
police
to
register
a
case
against
him.
The
11th
Court
Magistrate
who
enquired
about
the
petition,
directed
the
police
to
look
into
the
matter
and
submit
a
report."
