VTV goes for a Hindi remake?

By By Gayathry V Pillai

Movies getting remake to other languages and old movies getting sequel seems to be quite common now. People have started liking such movies and that may be the reason even the ace directors go for such experiments. Now it's the turn of Gautham Menon's Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya going to get a Hindi remake.

Buzz is that Gautham is in talk with a leading production house in Mumbai regarding the VTV remake. And rumors are in air stating that Ranbir Kapoor may do the male lead role played by Silambarasan. Ranbir Kapoor is also approached by Tamil ace director Mani Ratnam for his next film Azaan. But Ranbir has shown an interest in doing VTV remake as he thinks the subject line will suit Hindi audience.
