Surya's 7 Aum Arivu satellite rights sold to Sun TV

The satellite rights of Surya and Shruti Hassan starrer 7 Aum Arivu has been sold to Sun TV. The movie, which is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, will light the screens during Diwali.

Udhayanidhi Stalin has confirmed the date of the release and clarified the rumours pertaining to the distribution rights being sold to some other company. The producer tweeted, “7 Aum Arivu will be a Red Giant release for this Diwali October 26th! Only the satellite rights have been sold to Sun TV."

Meanwhile, the makers of the film are planning to launch the audio of 7 Aum Arivu on September 10. The movie has six songs, including a Chinese song, which is crooned by Mandarin singer Hau.

AR Murugadoss directorial 7 Aum Arivu features Surya in triple role, Shruti Hassan as a scientist and Johnny Tri Nguyen in the villain role.
