Aadhi injured while performing stunt

Actor Aadhi has been injured, while performing an action sequence on the sets of Aravaan. The incident occurred recently in Melur town, Madurai district.

According to reports, Aadhi was doing an action sequence without a stunt double, when he fell from a five-feet tree. Sources say that the actor declined the director's offer to use a stuntman for the scene. It is said that the actor wanted to do it on his own. As a result, he injured his hands and legs badly.

Soon after the incident, he was taken to nearby hospital. However, he will be in bed rest for a few days, as per the doctors advice. However, the shooting of the film has been called off.

Aravaan is a period-film directed by Vasantha Balan and produced by Amma Creatrions T Siva. Aadhi and Dhansika are playing the lead roles in the film. Internationally-acclaimed actor Kabir Bedi is also doing a guest role in the film.
