After
Aamir
Khan
starrer
3
Idiots,
now
the
Perfectionist's
home
production
Delhi
Belly
is
all
set
to
be
remade
in
Tamil.
The
Bollywood
movie,
which
was
released
last
Friday,
has
attracted
Kollywood
filmmakers,
as
they
are
trying
to
get
the
remake
rights
of
the
movie.
Sources
say
that
two
Tamil
directors
have
liked
the
movie
and
are
keen
to
remake
the
film.
They
have
reportedly
approached
the
makers
of
Delhi
Belly
but
nothing
has
been
finalized
yet.
Industry
insiders
say
that
it
is
too
early
to
say,
as
the
Bollywood
movie
is
an
adult
certificate
film.
And
the
Regional
Censor
Board
is
very
strict
when
it
comes
to
controversial
content.
There
are
a
few
instances
of
the
Regional
Censor
Board,
which
banned
movies
for
its
controversial
content.
Here
in
South,
the
board
considers
the
taste
of
native
viewers
and
anything
which
might
create
trouble,
could
be
chopped
straight
away,
it
adds.
Delhi
Belly
might
have
created
wonders
at
the
box-office
in
Bollywood
but
it
cannot
be
assured
the
same
in
Tamil,
as
the
taste
of
the
audience
is
completely
different
from
the
North
movie
goers.
If
the
makers
of
the
film
change
the
script
according
to
the
taste
of
the
native
audience,
then
it
might
fetch
good
response,
a
source
concludes.
It
may
be
recalled
that
Shankar's
Boyz,
which
was
released
in
2003,
had
also
created
furore
in
the
Tamil
film
industry
for
its
characterization
of
the
lead
actors.
Though
the
movie
was
released
without
many
cuts,
it
faced
wrath
of
several
organizations
after
the
release.
