superhit
Rang
De
Basanti.

friends
recommended
Rang
De
Basanti
and
Siddharth
was
brilliant
in
that.
He
came
to
England
and
loved
the
script," Spottiswoode
said.
Siddharth
in
the
film
will
play
the
genius
mathematician
Srinivasa
Ramanujam.
The
Ramanujam
film
titled
The
First
Class
Man
will
not
be
a
biopic
though
and
will
only
deal
with
his
friendship
with
English
mathematician
GH
Hardy.
“Hardy
thought
that
Ramanujan
could
be
brilliant
and
as
it
turned
out
the
young
Indian
was
more
talented
than
him.
They
collaborated
for
four
years
and
wrote
wonderful
papers.
It
was
a
wonderful
friendship
between
the
two
because
Ramanujan
was
deeply
spiritual,
while
Hardy
was
only
interested
in
cricket
and
mathematics,"
said
Spottiswoode.
The
film
will
be
based
on
a
script
written
by
an
American
writer,
and
had
won
a
prize
at
the
Tribeca
film
festival
for
best
script
about
science.
The
filmmaker
revealed
that
he
is
currently
putting
the
finance
together,
and
is
likely
to
begin
the
shoot
for
the
film
next
year.
