Ajith Kumar's character in Mangaatha revealed

Ajith Kumar's negative role in Billa got him huge accolades from the critics. His fans liked and appreciated his role of a gangster. Now it has been revealed that Venkat Prabhu has etched a similar kind of character for his upcoming Tamil film Mangaatha. Yes, Thala can be seen in the role of a baddie in the film.

Ajith is said to be playing the role of a betting kingpin in Mangaatha. The story of the film revolves around the gamblers, who try to manipulate the Indian Premier League (IPL) by offering bribe to the players. Arjun Sarja plays the role of an investigating officer, who cracks the code of bookies and match-fixers.

Mangaatha, written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, also features Trisha Krishnan, Vaibhav Reddy, Premji Amaren, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea Jeremiah, Sona Heiden and others in the cast. The audio of the film is expected to hit the market in May and the movie will release in June.
