A day before the New Year, Ajith Kumar has crossed 1 lakh fans on Facebook. The actor's account, which is maintained by his e-fans association, created it a few months ago and in a short span of time, it has got a record number of 'likes'.

Thala's ardent fans have given good response for him on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. It has helped his fans to connect with the actor and get latest news about Ajith. In coming months, his fans 'like' is expected to reach 5 lakhs.

Meanwhile, Ajith is filming Venkat Prabhu's Mangaatha, which is likely to hit the screens on May 2. The movie also features Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Ganesh Venkatraman and others.
