Ajith Kumar's Mankatha goes to Bollywood

Ajith Kumar's silver jubilee film Mankatha is the highest grossing Tamil movie of 2011. The movie, which completed its successful 50-day run recently, is all set to be remade in Bollywood with a huge star cast like the original Kollywood version.

Producer Gnanavel Raja has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Mankatha from Dhayanidhi Alagiri. The filmmaker confirms and claims that his production house has bagged the rights. He further says that the cast and crew are yet to be finalized and he is still working on it. The producer assures that the further announcement about the project will be made after November 15.

Mankatha starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Lakshmi Rai, Mahat Raghavendra is about the betting money, whish is involved during Indian Première League (IPL). Five men hatching to steal the gambling amount and fighting against each other after robbing the money form the core of the story. It was written and directed by Venkat Prabhu.
