Ajith Kumar, the face of the Race

With the overwhelming response by the audience for his negative character in recently released action-thriller Mankatha, the filmmakers now seems to be keen to encash on his latest image. Well, now Thala is being considered for the remake of Bollywood superhit film Race.

A source close to UTV claims that the production house is planning to remake the Bollywood film in Tamil. The movie bosses believe that Ajith Kumar can only do such role in the Tamil film industry.

The interesting part is that they want to see Ajith Kumar in dual roles rather than casting two actors in Race remake. In the Hindi version, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna were seen as half brothers.

Race is about sibling rivalry, about their betrayal and greed, intrigue and revenge. The movie starred Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy. It was directed by Abbas-Mustan.
