Tamil actor Alex, who is popularly known for his villain roles, died at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai yesterday (May 01). The magician was recently admitted to the hospital after he complained of intestinal problems. The 52-year old star breathed his last while he was undergoing treatment at the hospital. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Alex started his acting career as a villain in Superstar Rajinikanth's movie Valli in 1997. Later, he has acted in more than 100 films. Mita Mirasu and Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi are two movie which boast of his wonderful acting. He even won the Best Character Actor Award from Tamil Nadu Government for his acting in Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi.
Besides acting, Alex was also interested in magic and he even conducted magic shows on Makkal TV. He had etched his name in the Guinness Book of World Record as well as the Limca Book of Records for performing magic non-stop for 24 hours. The sudden death of actor Alex is a great loss and it can not be replaced by anyone.
