Amala Paul out; Shruti Hassan surprisingly in!

In a surprising development, Amala Paul has walked out of Aishwarya Dhanush's debut directorial 3 and Shruti Hassan has re-entered the movie. The former has citied date issues to act in the film, whereas, the latter, who refused to act in the film for the same reason after approving the project, has given her consent to act in the upcoming Tamil film.

Excited Aishwarya confirmed the news and tweeted, “Amala couldnt provide the promised dates due to prior commitments.. @shrutihaasan welcome on board the 3 team." Shruti Hassan, who refused the offer due to lack of dates, has decided to act after Amala Paul opted out of the Tamil film. Sources say that Shruti's Telugu project, which has been postponed, made her to sign the movie.

On the other end, Amala Paul opted Telugu movie Bejawada Rowdilu over 3. However, Shruti Hassan is pairing Dhanush for the first time in the upcoming movie. The film has Anirudh's music and Velraj's cinematography and produced by Kasthuri Raja. It is expected to hit the screens on January 14.
