By Ramchander

Silambarasan and Vetrimaran"s much-talked movie Vada Chennai is in the final stages of pre-production works. Now, the makers of the film have started finalising the cast and have already roped in Amala Paul to play one of the female lead roles in the forthcoming Tamil movie.

Sources say that director Vetrimaran has signed Amala Paul and is now considering Andrea Jeremiah for the other female lead. He has also roped in Telugu actor Rana Daggubati for a key character in the upcoming film. The filmmaker, who took close to one year to give shape for the script, has finished the scripting works.

Vetrimaran is planning to start the project once Silambarasan completes his forthcoming Tamil movie Osthi, which will hit the screens on November 11. The movie is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri under the banner Cloud Nine.
