Dhanush gets Amitabh Bachchan's blessings

After getting praised for 'Kolaveri di' from Amitabh Bachchan - who was first Bollywood star to praise the song on Twitter - it was time for Dhanush to meet Big B personally to seek his blessings. Well, the Tamil actor bonded with the Bollywood icon at his residence in Mumbai on Monday.

“Dhanush! Of 'why this Kolaveri di" fame and star in his own right, visits the house to meet up. Simplicity in his demeanor!" Amitabh Bachchan wrote on Twitter after meeting the Tamil actor. It is well-known that the Bollywood actor and Dhanush's father-in-law Rajinikanth are very good friends.

Later, Dhanush replied, “Sr Bachchan, it was a pleasure and honour meeting you sir. I"m glad I received your blessings. Thank you ji."

However, 'Kolaveri di' is a song from the forthcoming Tamil movie, 3, which is directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. The song composed by newcomer Anirudh is written and crooned by Dhanush.
